Natural gemstones, chosen one by one
Auction Gems Europe is a small, Swiss-based dealer of natural loose gemstones, run personally by Francesco Immune from Zürich. The collection concentrates on four families: unheated rubies from Burma, Mozambique and Madagascar; unheated sapphires in royal blue, cornflower, peacock, pink and yellow; cobalt-blue spinel; and natural-colour fancy yellow and orange diamonds. We buy few stones, and only stones we would be happy to own.
One stone, one listing
Every stone on this site is photographed and filmed individually. What you see on the page is the exact stone you receive, with its own stock ID. We do not sell from stock photos, and we do not sell parcels under one picture.
Every stone with an independent report
Each stone is sold with a report from an independent gemmological laboratory. The lab, the report number and the treatment status are shown on every product page, and the original document ships with the stone. Our current stock carries reports from GRS GemResearch Swisslab, GUILD Gem Laboratories, Bellerophon Gemlab, Lotus Gemology, GIA and Gem Report Antwerp. How we describe a stone
Each listing states weight, measurements, shape, origin, colour, treatment status and the certifying laboratory. Trade colour terms such as "pigeon's blood" or "royal blue" are used only when the laboratory report itself uses them. If no laboratory has examined a stone for treatment, we write "Not tested" rather than assume it is untreated. See Certification and treatments.
Fixed prices, no bidding
Every stone has a fixed price in Swiss francs, shown in EUR or USD where available, with the price per carat alongside for comparison. There are no buyer's fees. Shipping is insured, tracked and free worldwide, and every stone comes with a 7-day inspection period at home.
Talk to us before you buy
Ask for more photos, a video in different light, a quotation for a pair or a setting, or advice on whether a stone suits the piece you have in mind. Use the "Request a quotation" button on any product page, write through the contact page or message us on WhatsApp. Messages are answered personally, usually within 24 hours.
